Wills
A will is a legal document that states your wishes in regards to how you want your estate handled upon your death. Wills also explain your wishes for your children and division of your assets. You can name a guardian for your children and beneficiaries for your assets in your will.

Trusts
Hinson Law Firm handles drafting simple trusts. Trusts are needed for a variety of reasons and ensure that your beneficiaries and assets are protected in a way that may not be available just by having a will.
Health Care Directives
Health Care Directives, commonly known as living wills, allow you to state your preferences for medical care. This document allows you to nominate a person, known as your agent, to make health care decisions for you when you are unable to, or choose not to, make health care decisions for yourself. This document also allows you to choose treatment preferences so that your agent is aware of your wishes when you are unable to communicate them to your healthcare provider.
Power of Attorneys
A Power of Attorney is a legal document that authorizes another person to make decisions regarding your property, finances, or medical care. A Power of Attorney can be effective immediately or at some point in the future. A Power of Attorney can be limited to a particular task, such as allowing someone to handle a real estate closing for you, or it can be broad in scope, allowing a person to handle all financial matters for you.
